Caterpillar, Peoria, Ill., has designated Cat® Entertainment Services as a global service provider of temporary power generation and temperature control equipment for major international events and production projects.

Since its establishment in 2000, Cat Entertainment Services has provided turnkey power generation, distribution and high-volume temperature control solutions for thousands of sporting and special events; concerts, tours and music festivals; film, video and broadcast productions; and conventions, conferences and expositions in North America and around the world.

Now, Cat Entertainment Services will work collaboratively with the Cat Rental Power network to supply sound-attenuated, emissions-certified generators and power modules, with complete onsite installation, monitoring, transportation, fuel service and factory-trained personnel for every event.

Cat Entertainment Services provides environmentally sensitive equipment, including its own power supply technology, which broadcasts may require, and that further limits the carbon footprint, and also offers project-specific engineering solutions, comprehensive site surveys, technical drawings and event planning assistance. Cat Rental Power dealers will continue to provide rentals and customer support for local and regional events within their respective territories.
