Manitou Americas, West Bend, Wis., the manufacturer and distributor of Gehl and Manitou compact equipment for the construction and agricultural markets, has entered into a sponsorship arrangement with Andretti Sports Marketing and the Milwaukee IndyFest, held June 15-16, 2012, at the historic Milwaukee Mile racetrack at State Fair Park in West Allis, Wis. Gehl was named as the “Official Compact Equipment of the Milwaukee IndyFest.”

Manitou Americas provided the use of a Gehl RS10-55 telescopic handler, a Manitou MT 5519 telescopic handler and a Manitou MSI 30 semi-industrial forklift. These units were used by the Milwaukee Mile staff for track maintenance and material handling. Select units were used on race day to keep the race running smoothly.

Gehl also is the “Official Construction Equipment” of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, Calif., and Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis.
