Peter Burton, vice president of sales and marketing for STIHL, Virginia Beach, Va., plans to retire in July 2012 after 30 years with the STIHL organization. Burton, a native of Perth in Australia, has held the position of vice president of sales and marketing since May 1997 and has been responsible for sales for the domestic and export markets, sales planning, new product development, all marketing programs and all branch operations throughout the U.S.
