Georgia Expo, Atlanta, has expanded its factory and office with a new location in Suwanee, Ga. The company says the move marks Georgia Expo’s final expansion on the East Coast. The 90,000-sq.-ft. factory has a sewing and metal fabrication department four times the size of the current factory space, as well as a shipping department that also quadruples in size. Along with larger factory space, the facility includes a new showroom and training classrooms for Expo University, Georgia Expo’s new training initiative in educating customers in the care and utilization of pipe and drape. “We saw a need and an opportunity to expand our manufacturing capability with a larger factory space,” said Philip DiTrolio, Georgia Expo's founder and president. “With our expansive new offices, we’ll be able to engineer and produce an even higher volume of products, and design and develop new lines.” The new factory comes on the heels of multiple new developments for Georgia Expo including a new catalog, advancements in shipping and packaging, and a new line of VIP crowd-controlling stanchions, the company says. The new address for Georgia Expo is 3355 Martin Farm Road Suwanee, GA 30024. |
